ABOUT US

Third Coast Retina is an independent solo retina practice based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin and was founded by Clinton Charles Warren, MD. Dr. Warren is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease.

At Third Coast Retina, we strive to provide the highest quality care to our patients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. We specialize in the treatment of a number of different retinal conditions including diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, retinal detachments, and floaters.

Dr. Warren additionally has a keen interest in the management of lens-related complications and has performed over 500 lens exchange surgeries using a suture-less technique for scleral fixation.

Our philosophical approach to patient care is guided by the tenets of the 3 A’s: Availability, Affability, & Ability and Third Coast Retina seeks to provide just that,..in a welcoming and comforting environment.

DR. WARREN

After graduating from the University of Florida, Dr. Warren attended medical school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He subsequently completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2016 where he served as Chief Resident followed by a 2-year surgical retina fellowship at the same institution.

After completing his training in 2018, Dr. Warren accepted an academic faculty position to remain at the college where he trained both residents and fellows, while maintaining a busy retina practice, performing approximately 300 surgeries per year.

In 2022, Dr. Warren founded Third Coast Retina in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Since its inception, Third Coast Retina has evolved to become a direct reflection of Dr. Warren’s creative vision, which is to cultivate a uniquely different and satisfying patient experience, guided by a carefully curated team of individuals.

On a personal note, Dr. Warren is a fourth generation MD that grew up surfing in Florida and has a background in Horticulture and a passion for the arts and music. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé Kaley, and their two dogs, Asher and Uruz.
